Optima CLX fibre optic replacement cores for Optima CLX Macintosh, Miller, Robertshaw & Seward laryngoscope blades.
The fibre optic core in each Optima CLX laryngoscope blade clicks in and out for easy disassembly and reassembly – no tools are required.
The core can be replaced at the end of its working life whilst the blade, continues to provide a high quality product for many years to come.
Each fibre optic core in the Optima CLX laryngoscope system is an average 4mm in diameter and therefore increases light output by over 25% lux. This increase in light output results in an enhanced view of the laryngeal structures for the Anaesthetist, making the process of intubation easier and potentially safer.

Optima CLX are reusable blades with a removable glass fibre light guide. The light guide easily clicks in and out without the use of tools to allow cleaning and replacement of the core, thus reducing the cost of ownership and maintenance.
