BX2™ Ultrasound Needle Guidance System

The BX2™ Ultrasound Needle Guidance System is a two-part needle guidance solution designed for use with Canon PVT-382BT ultrasound transducers. It consists of a custom reusable bracket and a sterile disposable snap-on needle guide, enabling precise needle placement during ultrasound-guided procedures such as tissue biopsy, fluid aspiration, and catheter placement.

The system offers two selectable angle options through interchangeable guide bodies, allowing clinicians to choose their desired puncture angle. Easy-to-read angle markings enhance visibility in darkened ultrasound suites. Users can select from multiple gauge inserts (8.5FR, 13-23GA; 19GA not available), each featuring a large funnel for easy instrument insertion and a quick-release tab for convenient detachment. Sterile procedure kits include the guide body, guide insert, transducer cover, gel packet, and colored elastic bands. The reusable bracket requires cleaning and disinfection per the User's Guide.
